HOLJ FAMILY
The Hands of Love and Joy Orphanage and Childcare Center is committed to the health, safety, education and overall welfare of the children. As the old proverb states, "it takes a village to raise a child." Needless to say, it takes an army of dedicated staff to nurture and care for 30+ children. The staff of HOLJ firmly believes that if they train and set children on the correct path, when they are older, they will continue to follow it. We would like to introduce our new dorm mother, Hawa Kukiriza, a 40 year old mother who in addition to caring for the HOLJ children, also caters to children of her own.
