Home is Everything
It is famously said that home is where the heart is, but for us, a home is full of heart when a family dwells in it. For orphans, home is a mystery. They have either lost their home when they became orphans or never had one at all. Our kids need a forever home. It is our hearts’ desire for our beautiful children in HOLJ to feel like they have family among themselves and a family home. A home provides a sense of belonging, history, and stability. We want our kids to be able to say I have a home and know that it is really true.
To provide that sense of security to the kids, we will need to purchase property in the name of the Orphanage and erect the home. Once it is complete, we will also need to furnish it.
