Hands of Love and Joy Orphanage and Childcare Center Mukono, Uganda

Join us on a trip to Uganda. Uganda is located in East Africa. It is bordered by Congo, Sudan, Kenya and Tanzania and Rwanda.  It is a beautiful country that lies across the equator.  It is known for its high concentration of primates and natural wonders including the source of the Nile River. The greatest asset Uganda has is its people. Ugandans are warm and extremely hospitable people. You feel welcomed in the nation.

 

 

Our Mission

We take a trip to Uganda at least once per year.  While we are in-country, we:

 

• Spend time with the residents of Hands of Love and Joy Orphanage and Childcare Center.  We check on their welfare and assess their needs. We also engage the kids in various activities. 

• We teach and train in the local churches.

• We provide whatever services we can to the local community.

• We sightsee as time permits.

 

The activities involved on each trip is developed based on the skills, talents and gifts of the team.
